PowrServ

PowrServ was a program at Heart to Heart International starting in 2016. It offered unique philanthropic team-building events that engaged participants with hands-on activity of assembling hygiene kits. These kits met the needs of people who had been impacted by a crisis or disaster. Companies contacted a PowrServ representative to set up the events. If a company agreed to build Hygiene Kits, they would also make a monetary donation to cover the costs of the product. From there, HHI delivered the product to a location of the companies choice while having a PowrServ representative manage the on-site event.

The program initially launched with inspiration from Dr. Gary Morsch’s book “The Power of Serving Others”.

PowrServ made a difference in thousands of lives around the world in times of humanitarian and natural disasters. The program exceeded $1.0 million in revenue by 2018 and by 2022 became the Hygiene Kit program at Heart to Heart International.

Website

I created PowrServ’s website from the ground up through SquareSpace. It was important to me that anyone could update the website with ease, but still maintain a modern and branded look. You can see a showcase of my work below:

Kits can be customized to support Veterans with the addition of a local resource card. Items: hand towel, wash cloth, body wipes, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, hand towel, foot powder, socks, comb, toothpaste, toothbrush. Sanitary pads and tampons are included in the women’s version.
